Facilities and services

Everything a camping holiday needs, and nothing that makes it complicated.

Dinner on the panoramic terrace

Simple, down-to-earth cooking with regional produce, with meat and vegetarian dishes – served under the shade sail, with a view across the valley.

Dinners at Wild Camp

We are not trained chefs, but we have a huge amount of fun cooking. Our dishes are simple and down to earth, and there are always meat and vegetarian options.

We cook with regional produce: the meat, cheese, wine and beer all come from the area.

There is no set menu – you order freely from what is on offer. Usually there are mixed starters, pasta dishes (one of them vegetarian) and two or three main courses (again, a vegetarian version is possible). Dessert depends on the day and the mood … otherwise, a grappa.

In high season we cook on the following days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. We do depend on the weather, though – we only cook when it is dry. If you would like to eat with us, please let us know in advance – by email when you book or, at shorter notice, on WhatsApp – as we only have a limited number of seats and it helps us plan.

  • A wooden table laid in the shade of the trees with salads and colourful plates
  • A plate of caprese with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil being carried to the table
  • Tomato bruschetta with olives and small starters on the terrace
  • A starter platter of ham and cheese with a little bowl of honey
  • Rigatoni in sauce, next to a plate of vegetables with mushrooms and pumpkin
  • A colourful salad and a stew with fried potatoes
  • A burger and a beef tagliata on rocket
  • Salad with rocket, bresaola and shaved Parmesan

Infinity pool among the olive trees

The infinity pool sits on a terrace in the hillside, framed by dry-stone walls and old olive trees. Open from early May to mid-October, from 9.15 am until sunset, included in the price.

Bathrooms, outdoor shower and common room

A few rows of olive trees from the pitches are the bathrooms: toilet, washbasin and the warm outdoor shower with a view of the valley. In the common room next door you will find sinks for washing up, bins for sorting your rubbish and a washing machine for a small fee.

The glamping tents have their own private bathroom in the central wooden structure.

  • Electricity and water for the pitchesAt the pitch itself, drinking-quality water – remember an extension cable with a CEE adapter
  • Washing machineIn the common room, for a small fee

Pasta class

Learn the art of real Tuscan pasta right here at the camp. Together with an Italian mamma you knead and shape fresh tagliatelle.

While the pasta rests you prepare a crisp bruschetta and enjoy a first glass of chilled house wine with it. Then you cook the pasta with a sauce and eat together.

About 2.5 hours. €50 per person, €25 for children up to 12, including the course, bruschetta, the pasta dish, two glasses of house wine and water. For 3 to 8 participants; dates are posted on site.
